How To Use

The National Association of Surety Bond Producers (NASBP) Surety Pro Directory is a directory to help you make a professional connection and put you on the path to achieving surety bond credit. Search the NASBP Surety Pro Locator to find a NASBP surety bond producer or a NASBP construction CPA. The NASBP Surety Pro Locator offers an "Advanced Search" and a "Basic Search" method. Select the method you prefer by clicking on the words to the right of the yellow "Search" button either "Advanced Search" or "Basic Search." Since these toggle back and forth, only one of the two methods appear on the screen, never both at the same time. When first arriving to the site, note that the site defaults to "Advanced Search" mode.

"Advanced Search"
Below are steps describing how to search the NASBP Surety Pro Locator using the Advanced Search method.

Ensure the "Advanced Search" method is in play. The words "Basic Search" should be visible to the right of the yellow "Search" button. If they are not visible, click the words "Advanced Search" that are to the right of the yellow "Search" button. Note, when first arriving to the site, the site defaults to being in the "Advanced Search" mode. In the "Advanced Search" mode the words "Basic Search" are visible indicating "Basic Search" is not in play.

Choose whether you are searching for a NASBP bond producer or for a NASBP CPA, by clicking the toggle switch of your preference; "Surety Bond Agent" or "CPA Associate." The selected mode chosen will have a blue circle next to it. Note that when first arriving at the site, the site defaults to "Surety Bond Agent."

At the "Search by" menu, select one of the five options from the pull-down menu. See details about each below.

  • State or Country/Bond Type
  • City/Bond Type
  • Company Name
  • Contact Name
  • Radius/Bond Type

State or Country / Bond Type
To search by state/country and bond type, " from the "Search By" drop-down menu, select "State or Country / Bond Type." Note that the first option "State or Country / Bond Type" is already selected in the "Search By" drop-down menu.
Next, at the "Search for" drop-down menu (far left), choose a state or country from the "Select a State/Country" drop menu.
Further refine your search by completing the field nearby titled, "Select a Bond Type." Choose a bond type from the drop-down menu.
Then, click "Search" to find all listings within your selected city and/or bond type.

City / Bond Type
To search by city and bond type, from the "Search By" drop-down menu, select "City / Bond Type."
Next, at the "Search for" drop-down menu (far left), pick a city.
Further refine your search by completing the field nearby titled, "Select a Bond Type." Choose a bond type from the drop-down menu.
Then, click "Search" to find all listings within your selected city and/or bond type.

Company Name
From the "Search By"field, select "Company Name." and type the bond producer company that you are interested in learning more about. Note, exact spelling is not necessary, though your results will be more accurate if you know the correct spelling of the company you are trying to find.
Then, click "Search" to find all listings with your selected company name.

Contact Name
Then, from the "Search By" menu, select "Contact Name"
Then, at the "Search for Contact Name" field, type a complete name (first and last name) or partial name (first or last name) to find listings containing that name. Note: Enter first name in the first box and then a last name in the second box. Then, click "Search" to find all listings with your selected contact name.

Search: Radius / Bond Type Search:
The Radius search is useful if you need to find a NASBP bond producer and/or CPA near you or at a location within a large metropolitan area.
From the "Search By" menu, select "Radius / Bond Type"
Then select the number of miles or kilometers around your zip code from which you would like to see a listing of NASBP bond producers or NASBP CPAs.
Then, enter your zip code in the field indicated as "Zip/Postal."
Further refine your search by completing the field nearby titled, "Select a Bond Type." Choose a bond type from the drop-down menu.
Then, click "Search" to find all listings within your selected geographic radius of a zip code and/or bond type.

"Basic Search"
Below are steps describing how to search the NASBP Surety Pro Locator using the "Basic Search" method.

Ensure the "Basic Search" method is in play. The words "Advanced Search" should be visible the right of the yellow "Search" button. If they are not visible, click the words "Basic Search" that are to the right of the yellow "Search" button. Note, when first arriving to the site, the site defaults to "Advanced Search" mode. In the "Advanced Search" mode the words "Basic Search" are visible indicating "Basic Search" is not in play.

Conduct a "Basic Search" in the directory by entering any word or phrase into the field next to "I'm looking for..." to find all listings containing that word or phrase.

Then, choose whether you are searching for a NASBP bond producer or for a NASBP CPA, by clicking the toggle switch of your preference; "Surety Bond Agent" or "CPA Associate." The selected mode chosen will have a blue circle next to it. Note that when first arriving at the site, the site defaults to "Surety Bond Agent."

Next, click "Search" to find all listings and companies with a company description that includes your key word. For example, a query of the "performance bond" with the "Surety Bond Agent" selected will present all listings and companies with a company description that includes that keyword.
